Bought a vehicle off them. Said it had a tune up and the oil changed. Was told over phone that it would need rear tires and a tie rod end. They said we wouldn't be disappointed. Went to purchase vehicle, brakes were spongy and fuel gauge did not read correctly. Didn't think it was a big deal, maybe overlooked. Turned out the oil was never changed. They just cleaned off the old filter to make it look new. Changed the oil and it was black. Tranny fluid was burnt as well. Needs both tie rod ends and there was a crack in the left arm. Tires still have plenty of tread on them luckily. Spark plugs and wires were never done either. Think the brakes are spongy due to the vacuum booster going bad. Not sure what they consider a tune-up. Glad they didn't inspect it. I don't believe the vehicle was ever looked at. Just put on the lot as a cheap sale. Told us it was purchased in Delaware but turns out it was from Maryland. I had my Taurus in to another shop and they tried to sell me close to $2000 worth of work for state inspection. They said I needed rear struts, front brakes and rotors, wheel cylinders and an entire exhaust system. I brought it into Nottingham for a 2nd opinion and it ended up having a broken rear coil spring that the other shop completely missed. Nottingham fixed my car and saved me over $800. Some shops are obviously just out for the money, but these guys really know what they are doing and are 100% trustworthy. MY WIFE TOOK HER CAR IN FOR SERVICE TO CHECK FOR A NOISE IN THE FRONT END . ASKED FOR THE SHOP TO CHECK IF THE NOISE WAS COMING FROM THE HUB BEARING OR TIRE. INSTEAD OF TAKING THE TIME TO DETERMINE WHERE THE NOISE WAS COMING FROM THEY SOLD MY WIFE TWO NEW TIRES AND NEVER TEST DROVE THE CAR TO SEE IF THE NOISE WENT AWAY, IT DIDN'T. 2 DAYS LATTER CALLED BACK NOTTINGHAM WHO WAS INTERESTED IN NOW REPLACING THE HUB BEARING BUT WOULD NOT ISSUE ANY SORT OF CREDIT FOR THE 2 NEW TIRES THAT WERE NOT NEEDED.
