Lice Busters

5.0

By Anonymous

I have 2 kids in grade school that had lice. I tried 2 times to remove them but was called by the nurse that they still had lice. After trying and failing to remove lice and not knowing what to do next, I called Lice Busters and I was VERY happy with the service. She removed it all from my kids heads and showed me what to do to make sure I cleaned properly. I was amazed to find out that what I thought I knew was wrong but she was patient and understanding. I told my kids teachers, nurse and lots of moms to call them if they ever needed this type of help. The price was not even expensive...I thought I would pay a fortune but it was not bad at all! My daughter has hair to her waist too!!! THANX SOOOOO MUCH 4 all ur help! ...read more

LICE: The Truth & The Tales!

Lice is a dirty word to most people. In fact, most people think that lice are only found in filty homes and on dirty heads. The truth to the life of lice is quite the opposite. So don't panic people....WE ARE THE LICE BUSTERS! True or FalseLice are only on dirty heads and hair. False! Lice can and will live on any human head that has hair. There are a few exceptions to this rule, though. Some hair types are 'harder' for lice to lay eggs on and therfore, die. I will explain this down the line. Lice jump from head to head False! Lice DO NOT jump! Fleas jump! Lice crawl from head to head or crawl from object to object looking for a place to call home and lay eggs. Lice are spread from either head to head contact or from object to head contact. For example: coats and hats hanging from the same hook at school. If a child has lice and wears a scarf or hat while infested, the lice will crawl on to the hat and when the hat is removed and is hanging alongside another hat, the lice have found a new home to lay their eggs. These little buggers multiply fast because of this reason! You must clean EVERYTHING in your home to get rid of liceAgain...WRONG! Most Moms flip out and clean for a week straight! This is not needed and most find after they clean like a mad woman, the lice reappear! I will explain what to clean and what is not needed later. Only white people can get liceFalse and true....I'll explain! It is not the color of the skin that the lice like. It is the texture and shape of the hair that the lice need to lay and attach eggs. Black hair is more coarse, which means the hair strand has a flatter shape. This makes it harder for lice to attach the egg to a strand of hair. White hair has a more oval shape and eggs are easily attched to a strand. Asian hair is very round in shape. This hair type also is harder to lay eggs on as they will slip off of the strand. Now, there is always the exceptions to every rule! If you are black and have hair that is less curly and finer, you can get lice! If you are white and have very thick, curly hair, your hair may be too flat for lice to breed. So as you see, it is not the color or race that lice like, it is the type of hair that they need to breed. You recieved a note from school that a child in class has lice. You MUST treat your child ASAP! NO NO NO!!! Lice shampoos do not prevent lice. They treat it. Do Not use any lice shampoo or lice treatment if your child does not have lice. You treated your child but the school nurse sent your child home again because they found nits. Do they still have lice? Most schools have a "NO NIT" policy. If you treated your child and removed eggs for hours but their may have been a few missed, YES they still could have lice. The ONLY way to be sure is to remove each and every nit. This is where "Lice Busters" is needed! If I shave my sons hair off the lice are gone? They should be but lice can also live in eyebrows and lashes. This depends on how bad the infestation was to begin with. ...read more
