I have never had to deal with such a rude, non-compassionate front desk at a doctors office. I am new to this area and just started going to this practice for my family. After my experience here I will never use them again, and it has left me with such an awful feeling I will no longer go to a health care facility in such a small area. It may be wrong for me to judge all by this experience, but I will not risk my family's health ever again. My daughter has been sick for quite some time and I explained this to the nurses. I needed to get her in as soon as possible. Instead of being understanding like a good office staff should be, I was treated like I was absolutely insane to have even asked for this appointment. I was told maybe I should just get her to the ER since it is so important to me, and they could not get her in for a week. WHAT? Overall I like most of the doctors and feel they provide good care, BUT the inexcusable wait time is beyond normal. Even with an AM appointment you will wait a minimum of 30 minutes and afternoon appointments are sometimes beyond an hour. My family is extremely frustrated with that and we are considering another practice where they understand the value of their patients time.
