I was fully taken advantage of and treatly differently here because of being a woman. They didn't give me any information about my car after my inspection- meanwhile, as I sat there for an ungodly two hours, they went through every bit of information with every man that went through there- I watched them do it. Then they claimed something was wrong with my car during the inspection that hadn't showed up on my initial inspection a week prior at the same place. They told me two different stories within one minute so I knew they were lying about it but there was nothing I could do. They didn't even ask me if I wanted the work done in the first place- just went ahead and did it and overcharged me big time. Please do NOT go here, especially if you are a woman and alone. ...read more

I had my first experience with Goodyear in Monroeville recently. I needed tires and found a really good deal here, so I went through with it. \t\n\t\nWhen I went to pick up my truck, they told me that my rear brakes were almost shot and would absolutely need replaced within 6000 miles. This was not true. My rear brakes were nearly new as I had just checked them. The rotors were well within tolerance and the brake pads had less than 25% wear. Goodyear would have been more than happy to charge me the $200 to replace them though.\t\n\t\nAlso, they did not torque my lug nuts appropriately. Many were over-torqued. I could not get the majority off with a 1/2 inch drive impact wrench and broke a 17" Armstrong breaker bar trying to get one off. Not only would this have been inconvenient had I had a flat tire, but this could also warp my rotors. This is probably where the "Your back brakes will need replaced soon." comes in.\t\n\t\nI went back to discuss with the store manager, and he refused to acknowledge that they did anything wrong. ...read more

My first experience ordering good year tires from this dealership turned out to be a horrible experience. I definitely will not return!\t\n\t\nI wanted good year tires and thought, what better place to do that than at a good year dealer. I made my appointment with rep Kathy, specified tires, and got a quote including a current rebate ($80) from Good Year. She proceeded to schedule me with an appointment that takes place AFTER the rebate has expired, just so that she can be there (commission?). When I arrive for the appointment, the four tires she quoted me had already been sold. She offers no recourse but to re-schedule appointment, and I have by now lost the rebate opportunity. This is extremely disappointing, and enough to drive away a new customer from any further association with this Good Year dealer (if not the tires themselves!) The politeness and reasonably good price on the phone is not followed up by actual (and very basic) customer service! ...read more
