My experiences with Lantz Modular Log Homes has been more devastating than the fire that destroyed my previous home! Mr. Lantz refuses to complete, repair, or even return to my house. My home was erected in late July 2008. Mr. Lantz offered changes to make the home look better, and some changes he did on his own because he thought they made more sense. Now, he is expecting me to pay for change orders (that do not have my signature) that are amounting tens of thousands of dollars. Mr. Lantz and his crew left my home in October 2008 and only returned in Feb. to collect money. I am holding approximately 8% of the total value of the home until the home is completed, but I am starting to think it may never get done. I cannot complete the repairs to the roof, siding, and more with the amt. of $ I am witholding. Syn-TEch Siding is the worst! It cracks, contracts and pull off of my house.
