We have a new place in The Hideout. we went to a few stores including Raymour & Flanigan as well as another "local place" on Rt590 in Mt. Cobb. While we were happy with Raymour for some items, we were THRILLED with marc & his store at Hamlin Furniture. His delivery people were quick, quiet, neat & professional and the prices in the store were FANTASTIC and all items were High Quality. That 'other "Family Run' place' in Mt. Cobb were High Priced, med-level quality, delivery was based on whether or not the 'kids were in school' and you were forced to take the items OFF thier sales floor instead of getting a fresh new sofa, loveseat, etc. Hamlin Furniture worked around OUR schedule, he customized pricing for us - and we already knew prices having shopped around prior - and we knew that Marc was giving us competative pricing. if you're not going to a furniture specialty chain store, Hamlin Furniture is your best bet. ...read more
