I really didn't know what I wanted or what to look for. I looked on line a lot before going to stores to shop. I went to at least 4 other stores before coming to this one. This was the only store where the salesperson asked details about our event. Asked about my dressing style. She brought me two dresses to start with and then examined me to see what would work for me. I was very impressed by their selection and the choices they were giving me. I can't believe I actually felt that I could look good in so many things. I made a choice and when my dress came in in my size, I loved it!!!!! I felt that the girls at the store had my interest at heart and really cared about making me look good for my daughter's wedding. I got so many compliments. I am recommending them to all my friends that are having weddings soon. I also think they deserve great reviews. Weddings are a wonderful and stressful time, no wonder people get so emotional. I wanted to recognize the terrific staff at Rina di Montella Studio for helping me with my gown this summer. I did not make it easy on them when my weight fluxuated a size or two prior to my daughters wedding. They were so accomodating with last minute alterations. WOW, incredibly rude and insensitive. Today I canceled the fitting appt. for my mother of the bride dress (sched. for Sept) after calling the shop to ask about a timeline issue concerning ordering extra dress material to fix an issue with the back of my dress. I'd purchased my dress out of state many months ago. Today I was basically told they "do alterations for people who buy their dresses there"...and I hadn't. I asked why I was not told this when I'd scheduled my fitting appt, didn't get an answer to that. My daughter is having her wedding gown altered there and that's how I came to the shop, thought it would be great for both of us to be having our gowns altered there. I was told to go back to the shop where I bought my dress...they knew it was out of state and over an hour from my home. I was shocked that they would do this to a mother of the bride who is now under a timeline crunch. Reviews on other sites indicated their service is lacking even to some who buy there.
