After one long year of dental consultations at 6 different Implant Centers/Cosmetic Dentists, countless hours of Internet research, many phone calls and emails later I finally made the decision to go with By Design Implant Center in King Of Prussia. One important aspect for me was "everyone is under one roof". The thought of having the surgery done in one office and then having to be transported partially anesthetized to the Cosmetic Dentist's office did not appeal to me at all. Not only does By Design offer a more convenient and cost effective approach but everyone is involved and informed in every phase and detail of your treatment plan. I had my initial consultation at By Design Dental Implant Center near the end of March. I met with Dr. John Thaler, the Prosthodontist and Susan Byrne, Surgical Assistant. . The moment I hit the door I was met with a pleasant, knowledgeable, and passionate group of Doctors and staff. These people care about every person that comes through the door and really provide top notch dentistry. They eased me out of my anxiety and I never felt pressured after treatment options were provided to me. I had complete control of what dental work I wanted from By Design Dental. I walk back into the practice now and it feels like I'm among old friends. Rand, the lab technician went above and beyond for me on my initial visit, he helped repair a problem with my existing dental. More importantly, both he and Susan were both understanding and nonjudgmental. They knew exactly what I was going through and how losing the ability to smile had adversely affected my life and self-esteem drastically. For the first time in years, I did not have a panic attack in a dental office!! I left the office with a confidence and sense of security that I had finally found the right place. A few days later I called Dr. Thayer with a few more questions. Cliff Gratz, Treatment Consultant / Manager then called to follow up to make sure I had a thorough understanding of the treatment and to see if I had any other questions. I finally made the decision to move forward with treatment. On my subsequent visit, I met again with Dr. Thaler, and Dr. Robert Mogyoros the Implant Surgeon. Both doctors took the time to review my surgical procedure in detail. At no point was I ever rushed through the appointment or left with an unanswered question. I also had the opportunity to spend time with Jamie Holmes, EFDA Chief Dental Assistant and Rand Jaslow, Dental Lab Director. Being able to meet and ask questions of the entire team was comforting and reassured me that I was in good hands. I was amazed how kind and open everyone was � they made you feel like you had known them for years. It is apparent that not only does the team care about their patients, they care about each other and it showed. The true collaboration of this team adds greatly to the quality of patient care..On April 30, 2013,I underwent oral surgery. I am absolutely thrilled with the result. Everyone joined me in the room for the unveiling. I am so thankful I was able to share that moment with each and everyone one of them. They each played a role in my transformation.
