I had a horrible experience with Beacon Daycare in Greensburg. To begin with, my son's teacher painted his fingernails without my knowledge or consent. My husband was FURIOUS. This teacher also kicked my son and shoved him off a scooter. I always picked my son up from daycare, but one afternoon my husband had to pick him up. Nobody there had met my husband before. They let him leave with my son and nobody said anything to him or verified ID. We believe a little more diligence would have been appropriate- that could have been anyone walking out the door with him! The final straw was when one teacher (the same one who kicked him) told me my son had said things that were totally not true. Another teacher told me that she had embellished on what was actually said, and I reprimanded my son for things that he simply did not do. If you are like me, a parent concerned about the the well-being of your child through out the day, do not enroll him/her at Beacon Daycare in Greensburg. ...read more
