Monro's pricing policy\coupons are completely ridiculous; their prices are literally more than double that of their competition (Meineke). I had exhaust work done on my vehicle and was quoted a price that was slightly higher than Meineke (about $40). I checked on their website and found a coupon for 30% off exhaust work and asked them to honor that coupon on the quoted estimate and they refused - stating they had already given me a discount of 40%. They then produced 'standard pricing' that was double the price they had quoted me and refused to use any online coupons because they had already reduced their pricing. I called the manager out on it, inquiring as to why their 'standard pricing' was double that of their competitors and the HS dropout gave me some BS about how the prices are set in New York. This place is horrible - They clearly get comission on the "add-ons" that they sell you. (Reflective/Protective Coatings, Frames etc) My wife went in by herself this morning and was hosed by the "consultants." She requested multiple times for less expensive frames and they told her that the $179.99 glasses were the least expensive frames they carried. . . . . UNTIL she got home and called back to cancel her glasses. . . then the consultant told her that she was happy to show her some less expensive frames that started at $89.99. . . Also, be prepared to pay $70 for lenses and an ADDITIONAL $109 for reflective coating. . . . Save yourself the time. . . Go to Walmart that gives you lenses already coated for $60. . . It isnt just the price. . . Its the misleading and outright lying of the "consultants". . . Needless to say, we won't ever be back. . . and would disgourage you from using this business. . . . ...read more
