Working here, you think it would be an easy choice. But there is always that thought that you can make more selling outright to someone else. Working at a dealership, I hear often about the benefits of trading in. It's EASIER, and there are big tax savings being the two obvious reasons. But I also started thinking more about all the inconveniences that come with selling outright.• I don't like inviting strangers into my home and I don't like taking time away from work or my family so I can try to sell a car at my home.• Many people looking to buy a car outright don't have the money or the credit, wasting time.• It takes an average of 12 weeks to sell a car outright - and I'll still be paying for it that whole time• The car might be fine now, but what it had problems right after selling it.
