B-Gifted Foundation is a non profit Organization that uses creativity and technology to address human rights (including women and children's rights), environmental rights, enhance peace and sustainable development in Sierra Leone, whilst seeking to alleviate poverty through creative approaches. Seeds of Peace brings together Youth from opposite sides of conflict around the world and breaching years of violence and hostility trains them to return to their nations as young leaders for peace. Help me put together a truck load of food for their summer camp in Maine that will offer substantial meals to replace much of the peanut butter/bread that they have been eating now. I could go on and on………….! A fast response to global disaster has been dug out of the woodwork, the blueprint made after the big Mozambique flood in the 90's when the world response was so sluggish and being refined so that teams could be enroute anywhere in the world within an hour. Danny Garcia, the global walker for peace, pledges to walk to raise $30,000 to assist the Boys and Girls Choir of Harlem make historic trip to Shanghai, as China celebrates the 30 Anniversary of open relations with the United States.The Ministry of Culture of China with the Shanghai Municipal people's Government has invited the Harlem Boys&Girls; Choir Alumni Ensemble to perform at the International Arts Festival along with top artists of 30 other nations.  As this year marks the 30 anniversary of normal diplomatic relations between China and the USA, the Harlem Boys and Girls Ensemble have been chosen to represent the USA honoring this historic milestone. On July 5 Danny Garcia will launch a walk from the Metropolitan Community United Methodist Church, where he will be speaking at the Sunday 11 A.M. Service (Corner of 126 Street and Madison Ave.) This walk will cover the 5 boroughs of NY and will end on July 10 at the same Church for a ceremony opening a new prayer Chapel that is to be available 24/7 to the local community. This event will include a short concert from the Harlem Ensemble. Danny has walked around the globe, over 25,000 miles on foot covering 5 continents, for peace, for justice, for humanitarian Aid. As Danny walks, this simple gesture of love and peace attracts children and adults, sometimes by the thousands, who participate for one, for two, for ten miles, who eagerly contribute to Danny's cause sometimes with a smile, sometimes with a generous contribution.
