Neighborhood legal services recommended him to me. I signed an agreement for him to handle my case at $40/per. After a while the monthly statements stopped, but his request for more money increased. Finally, I started to inquire about why the money is running out so fast and where the statements are. I was told by his wife/secretary that she'd look into it. I called several more times, they started avoiding my calls. I complained to the butler county bar association. Matthew responded by saying I signed a (new) agreement at $100/hour but refused to show me this new agreement. He even told them I was making this all up. Said I'm one of "those people who just don't want to pay their bill"...\t\n\t\nHe also would file unneeded motions in court and advise me in directions that would cause long drawn out battles; to make more money. \t\n\t\nHe really NOT a good person, much less a good lawyer.\t\n\t\nps.... He "flirts" with is female clients. Asks you out to lunch or dinner all the time. He makes comments about your chest or figure. He even asked me to go to Hawaii with him!!
