Had dinner there the first time last night. Beth was our server, she was very attentive and a pleasure to talk to. Was pleasantly surprised becuase the restaurant looks a lot better in person than it does on the web site, I absolutly adored the atmosphere, the food was exceptional, I absolutly loved the fried bread appetiser. my main course was the NY strip steak which was amazing, cooked EXACTLY the way I requested. This resataurant is fast becoming one of my favorites. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was..... the potatoe, with my steak, tasted awesome, the problem was, the portion, one slice was not what I expected. but it made us laugh cause my reaction to it was" Thats the potatoe? the wyck is a landmark here in buckingham. the service and the crowd is friendly and the food is higher quality bar food with a good selection. I recommend the fried chicken - its homemade fresh everyday. The strongest part of the candlewyck is its take out beer store with an enormous variety of domestic and imported beers. ...read more

This is a lovely little place to meet friends and enjoy good food. Charming atmosphere. The only downside is that she is always out of pie! (Her menu could be expanded.)
