Many years have I enjoyed Kate's adventures within her art. It can be mind boggling to except the fact that every dot or line you see has been painted by her hand. Never are there shortcuts taken to achieve the result she has envisioned. Rarely will you also find a artist with such a grasp of the color pallet. Kate, as a neighbor and friend while I was in Alllison Park, had done some beautiful painting on a wooden quilt box I had made for my wife's quilts. Because of my work with the Hopi I had her paint some Hopi symbols on the box which were outstanding. Her work in almost any creative area is equally beautiful.
