Beware when calling this office to inquire about mistakes on your bill! Do NOT trust the woman who answers your call to actually record the note relating to your inquiry. I called this dept to inquire about a couple of crazy charges on a bill for my 5 yr old sons yearly physicial on 8/14 at 3:01pm. She agreed that the $800 bill looked incorrect and advised me NOT to pay the bill until she got back to me. Fast forward 1 mos and I receive a letter saying my account is past due & pay immediately! I received NO call back in between! So I call back and speak to the woman again but she denies ever receiving my call. Admittedly I am upset at this point but I am not yelling by any means. She did not allow me to talk so I asked for her supervisor who was EVEN worse! Joe R (employee# U6935)He was rude, told me I never made the initial call (which I have cell records of), and then told me my speaking voice was unpleasant so he was turning down the volume on his phone. I Never yelled once.. Could not get info to lodge a complaint that wouldnt go directly TO HIM either. It's disgusting how they sweep their mistakes under the carpet & just pretend it never happened.. Do not use this group for your medical needs if at all possible.. They are overcharging for services and have zero respect for responsible customers who call to clarify billing concerns. I have been going to the H & R Block on Lehigh Street, in Allentown for the past 2 years. I have always gotten great service. They give me accurate information and tips on what I can and cannot claim. The people there are always nice and smiling. That means alot now adays.
