I had a excellent experience at Alam's yesterday. While I was at a big box store, and they were out of what I needed, again, a patron suggested I try Alam's. When I arrived, the staff greeted me as soon as I entered the building. Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. In addition, they have very competitive prices (duct work that the big box was out of was $3 less per piece at Alam's)! They also have items that you cannot find at the big box stores in general so if you are like me, a more advanced do it yourselfer, it is well worth the trip to Alam's to get what you need. They had everything from welding supplies, hvac supplies, plumbing, electrical, cast iron cookware and even a tool rental area!
