Fuji's In Sherwood

3.0

By JillJ366 at Citysearch

Good food, staff = rude. I really like the sushi here, however, we now go to Crazy Sushi instead, even though their sushi is not as good. Crazy sushi's staff welcomes you like you are long lost family. The all yell hello when you enter and yell goodbye when you leave, it is cute. At Fuji's in Sherwood, you have to yell, so you can get someone's attention. And then when you finally do come to help you, they look and act annoyed that you are there. Not very customer service oriented. It is too bad. ...read more

Rose's Restaurant and Bakery

2.0

This place used to be great. I still see glimpses of that but more often than not I end up very frustrated with my experience. Last weekend we went with friends before trying to make a movie. We had our friends order and the server wouldn't come by our table until they arrived. I waved to him, he nodded, and then walked away. When our friends finally arrived we ordered and they asked for lox and bagels. Well, the cream cheese had run out but they tried to serve it anyway. They scraped what little they had across the bagels and served it like it wouldn't be noticed. Our friends didn't have to pay but they had no time to order something before going to the movie. Today, my wife ran up there to get breakfast for us and they did it again. I ordered biscuits and gravy and they put almost no gravy on it. I have had it in the restaurant and you can't see the top of the biscuits for the gravy, which also pools around the base. This time they just put a light drizzle of gravy over the center of the biscuits and sent the food out. Doing this on a to go order is unacceptable since the customer discovers it at home and can't send it back or complain to the manager. I drove it back to the restaurant. The girl behind the counter was very apologetic and refunded the money but nothing makes up for intentionally poor quality. ...read more

Chicken Bonz

5.0

By bspoff at Citysearch

Chicken Bonz is worth the drive from Portland. Their wings bone in or boneless, are never frozen and prepared daily. A fabulous selection of sauces that offer flavor along with a serious kick if you want it provide many options. The burgers are served on Texas toast instead of a bun, their home made salads or their fried okra for those wanting to have an authentic Southern meal can't be beat. And for a modest $12.95 you can get all you can eat wings to satisfy even the biggest appetites. Well worth making a short drive into Sherwood from the city. ...read more
