This is a review on the delivery portion, in particular the Home delivery aspect of this Fedex office. I appreciate the delivery man or woman's repeated attempts to deliver my package, however I don't believe they put much effort into it other than walking to my door. \t\n\t\nI live in an apartment building that has a locked building entrance and I don't expect them to know the particulars of my residence. But! judging from the placement of Door Tags (form tags saying they were there) next to the intercom/apartment buzzer, I think it is only reasonable to assume that communicating with a specific apartment is one button away. \t\n\t\nI won't get started on the fact that home delivery in the middle of the morning, when people are at work or school is lame... because it is.\t\n\t\nGranted, the failure of the first two attempts were my own fault... My intercom button did not have a name on it or any indication of my existence, my fault entirely. But what really makes me mad is the third attempt at delivery.\t\n\t\nI made certain that my name and apartment number was clearly marked on the intercom. I came home around the same time as the previous attempts to wait for the Fedex person. I kept an eye on the window in-case I could see him/her (you can't see the front door from my apartment, save a glimpse) No buzz. No knock (though honestly I couldn't hear one from here if there was).\t\n\t\nI am very angry. I've wasted time waiting, missed obligations elsewhere and lost energy/cell phone minutes talking to their "customer service". I won't use Fedex unless desperation calls for it and even then I'll see what self-delivery costs. ...read more
