More than 2 hours late to the job. Wrote down the info wrong and brought there biggest haul for a small bus. They said I asked them to haul a 75 passenger bus. The request I gave was to haul a 1975, puller engine bus, 23 ft. They couldn't fit the crane hauler they brought into the double driveway of a suburban neighborhood. Told me they had to bring in a smaller truck and it would take an additional 45 min. Already late, screwed up the info, dispatch operator was rude. I asked to speak with the manager. He called and when I voiced my concern and frustration with their service, he said I should be thankful he isn't charging me for both trucks, then threatened to turn the smaller truck around. That was the only thing they got right...reading my mind. Refused to acknowledge the mistakes or make any effort to rectify the situation. Will never use or recommend their service. BRIAN WAS A NO-SHOW !!! I scheduled Brian's Expert Movers for a small-scale move, and Brian convinced me he was reliable and would actually show up. NOT SO. No call, no text, no email, and no Brian. This business is no longer managed by the original owner *bob*! So listen up people, as a result, current manager Jennifer Wilkins, has systematically poisoned this once respected storage facility. Here are a few examples either experienced directly or witnessed first hand of the alarming customer service business practices demonstrated by Acme Storage. First,As a customer prepare to experience verbal attacks publicly and without provocation. Jennifer is known for on site off business hours verbal harrassment followed by an irrational declaration statement and refusal to discuss further episodes. Secondly, the rules will change at her discretion and your tenant rights will fluctuate with her mood, causing unneccessary stress, headaches, and anxiety. Thirdly, they advertise 24 hour access. Ha that's a hoot once again at her discretion subject to change and with out explanation written and presented. The maintenance person,, Tracy, will invade what little privacy you have by sneaking around and spying on you around building corners. He will lie to management and. Directly to your face. As for maintenance he is a landscaper at best. The restroom facilities will be locked and unavailable at a management whim. Your rental doesn't include over head lighting. I experienced no lighting for 11 consecutive days with out explanation. Jennifer lives onsite and by her irrational actions is obviously driven by her emotions and not a clear business sense. Being void of rutementary business practices leaves the customer in the lerch and potentially victimized. They will come off friendly and warm but it is merely a smoke screen for horrific mind boggling behaviors. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
