I would rate this company zero stars if that were an option. The woman I spoke to was very rude and seemed unknowledgeable about international process serving. After sending her our documents she informed us that the price had risen significantly. When I asked for a receipt, she said she didn't know how to do that or why I would need confirmation of payment. I found a different process server that charges much less and seemed to know what he was talking about. When I told her I wished to cancel she agreed, then had the owner write me a nasty e-mail stating that I was a liar and that I should be glad he was not charging me for correspondence and having to deal with me. I will definitely not be using their services again. I am appalled at their level of unprofessionalism. ...read more

Because, what better way do we combat the enemy than by understanding them? Itty bitty disclaimer: my life was never in danger during this journey; I never even left the office. I used the tool that these criminals use to brag about their exploits: the internet.So, without further adieu, here are some of the little known techniques shoplifters use:Left handing.Some shoplifters pay for some items and steal the more expensive items at the same time. One technique for this is called left handing. The shoplifter places items that he wants to pay for on the checkout stand and simply holds the high-priced item in the other hand. The item can be concealed in the other hand or in plain sight. When it is in sight, the appearance is given that it belonged to the shopper before he came into the store.More than one shoplifter.In this scenario, a team of two is required. The team enters the store with matching bags. Team member one very obviously stuffs items into his bag in order to get the attention of Loss Prevention. Once the store is onto this team member one, he quickly and discreetly switches the bag with goods with team member two. Team member two then leaves the store with the goods and team member one has his bag searched with no incriminating evidence.Milkshake.A shoplifter enters the store with a milkshake. Throughout the trip, she drops small goods into the milkshake. She takes care to not to sip too much and expose the product.Keep your eye out for left-handers, bag teams, and milkshakers as shopper.
