Social Media Marketing (SMM/SMO)

Social Media Marketing (SMM) along with Social Media Optimization (SMO) can play a significant part in supporting company goals and overall marketing efforts; however, social media isn't for everyone and takes on a conversational tone while engaging your fans and followers. Check out our most recent work in our portfolio with Green Project Marketing. Social media marketing is playing a huge role and commanding large budgets to support engagement and communication efforts for companies, large and small. The cost of entry as compared to other marketing elements is quite low. However, clients should be prepared to make an ongoing budget commitment and a qualified committed social media team to this area. Building a fan base via blogging/Facebook/Twitter, driving leads and converting these leads can be very cost effective and provide a solid return on investment if engagement is the top priority. The challenge and opportunities will continue to be: Spur conversation Encourage feedback and engagement Generate referrals and recommendations Cross-pollinate multiple social media networks for your company Build loyalty Promote calls-to-action (CTA's): whitepapers/webinars/podcasts/videocasts Deliver sincere messaging Withhold from having correspondences on auto-pilot to other social media platforms Is Social Media right for you? Do you have the resources to support a social media strategy for the long-term? Are there natural places within your current marketing strategy where social media can be integrated? Are there conversations happening about your industry already? Who would you allow to have a direct conversation with your customers and prospects? Are the fans and followers you engage going to contribute to the overall marketing strategy? In the experienced hands of Salyris Studios, social media marketing is a powerful tool that will increase traffic to your website, build back links to your website, increase your company̢۪s exposure, and help you monitor your online reputation. Social media should be a dialogue, not a monologue. And Salyris Studios can help facilitate that dialogue. The biggest value of social media is viral sharing, when it is effectively promoted through highly trafficked social media channels. We develop marketing strategies that creatively expose your product / service to millions of social media users. We help you create high quality content that will create engagement to your brand and want to share with others online. Why Social Media Marketing/Optimization (SMM/SMO)? U.S. online ad spending will reach $28.5 billion Mobile ad spending reaching $1.1 billion Online advertising on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter will exceed $3 billion 63.7% of U.S. internet users will use social networks on a regular basis, amounting to nearly 148 million people Age group of 35 and under still dominates usage, activity and engagement Source: eMarketer, February/April 2011 Salyris Studios Social Media Marketing (SMM/SMO) PackagesOrder Your SMM/SMO Package Here: http://www.salyris.com/social-media-marketing-services.html ...read more

Marketing Your Website

‘How can I get people to visit my website?' I get asked this question, a lot. I've compiled a list of various ways you can market a website: Step 1: Get a Reliable Web Designer I cannot tell you how many times I've met with a client to restructure/re-align their web presence and I see their old site and cringe. Nothing makes me feel better than redoing a train-wreck of a site that is years out of date. Having a professional and reliable web design can the difference between page 1 on Google, and page 1,540. Trust me. Step 2: Get a Well Designed Website The customer is always right applies to content, however design should really be kept to the ‘designer'. Having a knockout web layout that is easy to navigate is a big step in the right direction. Let a designer make a mock-up for you and if you like it have them program it. Bam, you have a website. Step 3: SEO, SEO, and SEO some more. Basically the best way of getting into Google or any other major search engine is unique content. I cannot stress enough the use of consistent and unique information on your relevant tags. Your web designer will know what I'm talking about. Step 4: Google Webmaster, Analytics, and Local Business Center Utilizing the free services offered by Google and other major search engines can help you achieve better search engine rankings. Knowing where your traffic is coming from, who it is, and where they can find you is a major asset to have. Especially when its free. Step 5: Social Networking Get your site out there! Using social networking services such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIN can help potential customers find your website easier. Spreading your link around the net can help Google index your site quick. I'll get to that…. Step 6: Back Linking Right now. Back linking from other credible websites that share your content can help Google find your site faster and index you quicker. This, in turn, will boost your search engine ranking, if Google recognizes your site as a credible source of information, it will place you higher than your competitors. Conclusion Now, this is not an end-all-be-all post about how to market your website successfully. However, these are some of the main components that will be necessary for you to gain higher search engine rankings, more visibility to the public, and potentially more business. ...read more
