Jazzman Customs

Hands down the best experience I have ever had when getting body work done. Rick not only did a fantastic job working on the body of my Charger (filling holes, prepping, painting etc), but he took care of a bunch of minor details above and beyond what we discussed. His attention to detail was great and everything was finished on time. ...read more

Henry's Mustang Parts

Watch out for Bob's Mustangs and Henry's Mustangs Bob lied to me and is out to fill his own pockets by cutting corners, cheating and ripping people off. I'd avoid him by a mile. He painted my engine block without cleaning it first, the paint started chipping two days later. Be careful with your toys, don't let him near them. ...read more

NO WE ARE NOT THE CUSTOM/RESTORATION SHOP THAT IS CLOSING

Late in the year it was made known to us of another shop in town that was a start-up and was using our name and reputation to get in work. Unfortunately their work was very substandard and the bad news traveled as being our work. We have been on damage control for several months now trying to clear our good name&now; there is confusion in 'the grape vine' about a shop with a similar name to ours closing down. We are "NORTHWEST CUSTOM AND RESTORATION SERVICES, inc (doing business as the acronym; NW C.A.R.S.) We have no partners, have not as yet sold, have not moved or added locations We still operate in the same ways, still do high quality work and still operate under the same name, ownership and location of 2618 SE Steele St, Portland Oregon 97202. Please visit our website at www.nw-cars.com or contact us to set an appointment for a shop tour and to discuss your next project or upgrade. Big or Small...We Do It All. ...read more

OUR CARS WIN AGAIN!!!

Our record of having every car that we have entered in a judged event having one a trophy continues with two of our cars taking home trophies from the 53rd Annual Portland Roadster Show. We took a third place in Restored Convertible with the 1968 Cadillac DeVille Convertible and a second place in modified convertible with a 1963 Chevy Nova Convertible. Neither car was built to what we would consider 'show' standards, but we are very happy to say that our 17-year record stands. You can see examples of our work on line at : http://picasaweb.google.com/NWCARS and our website : http://www.nw-cars.com/ ...read more

PREP TIME

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! HOW ABOUT THAT WHITE CHRISTMAS? Now is the perfect time to get going on those updates, repairs, maintenance and other projects large & small. Your custom, classic or specialty vehicle is most likely sitting inside somewhere warm and dry, and that is a good thing, but before you know it spring will be right around the corner and the summer show and cruise-in season will be upon us. Typically most people wait until the season is starting to decide to get going on those updates, repairs, builds and details. This often ends up tying up your car or bike well into the season - if not beyond. Everybody has good intentions but all too often we see projects grow rapidly in depth and duration as the customer gets into it. All of the "while-we-are's" & we-might-as-well's" add up, and stack up, fast. Before you know it you are taking your project to greater depths and this adds time and expense to the project. We suggest that you seriously consider getting going on those projects as soon as possible, no matter how small - or how large- they may be. Better to be done ahead of the season than trying to thrash and get done during the season and before the season is over. Give us a call at 503-654-CARS(2277) to set up an appointment or discuss your project. We'd love to help. Best Wishes to all for the New Year & beyond. NW C.A.R.S. ...read more
