Are we talking about the same restaurant? I will be as kind as I can be. We must have been the Elderly couple that wasn't getting waited on while the other reviewer was getting 5 star treatment. Our food, after a forever wait was cold. The waitress, as most of them, did not have a command of English, which makes me wonder how long they have been citizens??? The manager/owner tried a new meal which was not much better. We will not be back due to this kind of treatment. Their cocktails are ample, with a request to taste the drink. But cold food doesn't get it. We also were served after other people came in after us and they were Latino, you figure it out. White males are the last minority. I was tired and sad the first time my sister and I went into this place. The friendly smiles, warmth, fast service and really good food left me wanting more. I brought the entire family in one night, including my mom in a wheelchair. We were all served graciously and quickly, and the staff seemed to know what I wanted before I asked. It felt like a famly place. I would have liked to know everybody better, but there was no time. The day I was going to take my mom there and we were going to celebrate with virgin margaritas and mexican food her fast recovery from open heart surgery, she landed back in the hospital with pneumonia. She's ok now, doing better, but residing in Silverton. I went home to Hawaii and I never got to go back.
