Being without my computer makes my business impossible, so when I got a nasty virus and my computer shut down, I was scrambling to get it fixed. I called another computer repair place and they gave me an estimate to remove the virus and if anything else needed done, that would be extra. Oh, and they could not start working on it for two days. I called Frank at Eagle Eye and I was able to drop it off to him that same day and he began work that afternoon. He got it back to me quickly all cleaned up (inside and out) plus he installed many necessary updates, installed anti virus and even updated a patch to my motherboard that made the computer run nice and quiet. What MS Korbe fails to tell you is how disastrous her computer's state of operation was. Dell PC, virus issue, she uses out-dated proprietary software which leaves her stuck with IE6. RAM problems on the computer found after extensive hardware diags, most Windows security updates were not installed, and my notes go on. This computer could have used a lot more than the 2 hours I charged, including driving over 50 miles for pickup and delivery. I wish ms Korbe would have called me before posting an incomplete review. I'm a self-employed person who relies heavily on my computer. Everything went haywire. Frank came and took my computer away. Called to say it would be an additional day before he could bring it back. Also told me it was fixed. The day he brings it back he say's "oh by the way, it still locks up sometimes" Not just sometimes, but every 10 minutes. I call back, desperate, completely backed up with my work and he doesn't even have the grace to return the call and still hasn't. He tells me he didn't fix the "lock up" issue (the primary problem) because he knew I needed my computer back....but then he keeps it an extra day?? Incompetent! ...read more
