My mother has lived in the Wynwood community for 10 years. They have done a lot of remodeling within the last year or so and the building and apartments are beautiful! But I have found that they would rather put the time into taking care of the building & not the residents. The care givers do less & less to take care of the residents. And the RD is really not in the carrer suited for her. She will listen to the problems you have, but does nothing to resolve it. I have seen my mother go for 2 wks w/o a bath because the care givers are to lazy to do their jobs, & the RD is to lazy to make sure the care givers are doing theirs. If you mother/father doesn't need much care then this is a great place to live. Very beautiful building, lots of fun activites, etc. But if your looking for a place to help your family member w/ daily chores (dressing, bathing, things like this) this is not the place.
