Do you know what? I sometimes have high expectations of the places at which I dine. I like the high end feel at GVB. It makes competitors like MM seem laughable. Unfortunately the food quality is not even. The broad menu appears to strain the kitchen's capabilities. While the filet is excellent in all respects items as simple as fried shrimp were lacking.
