We called a week ahead of time and scheduled a bottomfishing trip. Arrived the day before and was THEN advised that we would be going SALMON fishing. We were given no other option, just put on a salmon boat and taken out. I did not argue at the time, as we had already paid for the trip AND the Hotel AND the drive all the way there. We only caught 1 fish and paid $237.00 , which would have been acceptable IF I HAD BOOKED A SALMON TRIP. So if you want to go Bottomfishing I advise you book through someone else. PS ... The crew was great, deckhands did all they could to TRY to get us more fish... even stayed out a little past our scheduled return time. Do not get me wrong...these people were all very nice, even the one who pulled the "bait and switch" Richard Olson" Just feel I was wronged because my mother was the whole reason for the trip, she is elderly and could not fish for Salmon. We started out early around 6 am. The fishing was slow so the charter boat operator had us pull in our lines and he headded the boat to a new location. After only a few hours all six of us had our limit of salmon and we were headed back to the marina. I liked this charter very much, the deck hand was helpful and polite and the owner Oly, seamed like a reall nice fellow. The price was more than fair for the enjoyment we had.
