Perfect location - great layout for a group. Four bedrooms and three full baths with space in between worked well for us. The house was immaculate, well stocked and even included shopping bags, extra coffee, umbrellas, all the supplies and more than we expected. Hope to come back again. Who doesn’t accept credit cards in this day and age? And still expects full payment before or upon arrival but isn’t there to accept it the entire day of arrival? The information we received by email was incorrect and when we came back later to the Black Swan Inn (sister property) during the times posted for check in there was no-one there. We were able to get into the unit, as they left it unlocked and said to go on in when we phoned. After playing a bit of phone tag to arrange for payment, I was chewed out rudely, accused and blamed by an unreasonable and shrill staff/owner who regaled me on her busy schedule and activities including children’s school and soccer games. This conversation was during our dinner at a restaurant, which shocked our party and was quite unpleasant. We arranged to take care of it the next morning, and when my husband walked over to the Black Swan property he was treated with rudeness again and witnessed rudeness to other lodgers. ...read more
