I've recently lost my father and I have been dealing with Miller and Miller funeral home. I have dealt with both the Hugo and the Valliant offices, and I'd like to share my experience before anyone else takes their business to this funeral home. Because NO family who has lost a loved one should be treated like my family has. The shortest version I can give, is this: Upon my father's death, there was suspicion by the family of foul play. We were ASSURED by the funeral home that standard operating procedure for someone who dies at home, is that blood and other fluids are drawn, and various tests are performed on these fluids. These fluids were never drawn. However, the next morning, my family was told by the funeral home that all fluids were taken and sent to the medical examiner. That was a lie.
