Rocket Lube & Wash

1.0

By Tulsan

This place takes the cake! My phone charger was missing when I got my car back today. I used it on the way there, so I KNOW it was in my car. I told them immediately it was missing and they made a half-hearted effort at speaking to employees, then told me they don't have it and don't know what happened to it. They treated me like I'm an idiot. ...read more

Rocket Lube & Wash

Go elsehere, Tulsa! I had my oil changed, and since the exterior wash was "free" with the the oil change (included in the price is more like it), my 4Runner was washed as well. By the time I drove home, less than a mile away, my pants and underwear were sopping wet. After changing my clothes, I called RocketLube and asked if they could tell me what was spilled in my seat … water or something else. The lobby manager was rude and insisted I return to the store. (sigh) I went back and showed them the wet seat and the wet carpet behind the driver seat. They gave me an uber thin plastic seat cover and sent me home again. I'm not kidding. No apology, no explanation, no coupon, no refund. I put my towel back in the seat and returned home. Read the other bad reviews! Neither the lobby manager nor the general manager take responsibility when they've done something wrong. A simple apology would have made me happy, but wet underwear and no apology results in a bad review. Grrr! ...read more

Keep Your Car Looking Great for Years and Improve It’s Resale Value

Protecting the finish of your paint is a vital step in retaining your car's resale value and keeping it looking great for a long time.  Your car's paint is the first thing most people see when they look at your car and is the part of your car most affected by the elements and general wear and tear.  The elements are always working to fade, weaken, and deteriorate the finish on your car.  The good news is that by using these easy tips to protect the finish on your car's paint you can greatly extend the beauty and life of your vehicle.  ·        Keep it Clean.  One of the best things you can do to protect the car's paint finish is keep it washed.  Rain, dirt and road grime all work to weaken to your paint. By keeping it clean and washing it often you keep the grit, grime and fallout off of the paint.  Always use a soap specially formulated for washing cars, preferably with a wax additive that will help lubricate your wash cloth preventing scratches.  Always use a wash mitt or soft cloth, scrub brushes or other bristled brushes will scratch the paint's finish.  ·        Wax your car once a month.  Use a wax pad and a microfiber cloth to remove the wax. Never wax in direct sunlight, as this will cause the wax to bake.  The wax acts as a barrier to the elements, makes it easier for you to keep your vehicle clean, and has the added benefit of giving your car a "wet" look.  If your car isn't very dirty, simply wash it with water, soap isn't always necessary on a properly waxed car and the wax will stick longer.  Do not ever use dish soap, this will strip the wax off. ·        When possible, keep it covered. If you are able to keep your car in the garage, carport or under a car cover, do so.  Tulsa's sun, rain, wind and high humidity all work together to degrade your paint in different ways.  A car that is clean and well taken care of will always be worth more and will sell faster than a dirty one with faded or damaged paint, It will also save you time and money in the long run if you keep your car clean and maintained properly.
