This is our very first storm shelter and I'm glad we found the right place! Living in the Midwest you shouldn't have to fear or wonder where you're going to go when severe weather strikes. Having a special needs daughter, I knew I needed to find something to keep my loved ones safe. When we began searching for a storm shelter, we didn't no where to start or whom to trust. I was losing hope until I found Tornado Alley Armor. I was very impressed with their website and that the storm shelter can be assembled ANYWHERE in my home! We do not need to go outside to take shelter during severe weather, just go right in the bedroom and we can be safe in the comfort of our home. I couldn't come in person to see the storm shelter, but seeing all the videos and photos on their website helped me decide if this is right for me. The owners, Monty and Leslie were a pleasure doing business with, they're very dedicated and stand by their word. The owner even came all the way to Iowa to help install ours with a staff member, and they had our storm shelter up in less than 3 hours! They did a fantastic job! Thank you so much. Talked to them at the Home and Garden Show about upgrading our system. The Rep (her name was August) cancelled the first appointment about 5 minutes before showing up! Then when she did come out, was not very knowledgable about the System!! She was supposed to call back later that day and schedule our upgrade - never did!! Then we get a call a couple of days later from the tech calling to say he was on his way out when we never got a call to begin with to schedule the appt!! I called her to let her know how aggravated we were, and of course got her voice mail and never a return call!! We called her a few more times with questions and left messages and still never returned our calls!!! The tech was also very unprofessional and left dirty tracks throughout our house (never wiping his feet)!!! They also installed a system that has more steps to arm and disarm then our previous system (which of course the rep never told us). It also took a week of us calling to have somebody send us the link for our phone apps! I Finally spoke to a Manager in Tulsa who helped us out. IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT ALARM COMPANIES, RUN!!! DO NOT USE THIS ONE OR EVER CONSIDER USING THEM! TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO!!! I would rate them negative infinity starts, but that was not an option. This company is an absolute joke and as soon as my contract is up with them I will be fleeing from their company as fast as I can. The first time I moved, they double billed me for 3 months. This took 6 months and literally over 40 hours on the phone to get the issue resolved. They pushed my contract date back when I moved to an additional 36 months from the first time. I recently moved again and it has been a nightmare this time as well. It took 3 weeks of phone calls from them every day telling me that something appeared to be wrong with my system because there didn't appear to be any connection. Before I moved and disconnected my alarm, I called them to inform them that the system was going to be packed in a trailer and will be in a moving box until I could find another place to rent or buy. After several weeks of daily phone calls, someone told me they would put my account on temporary suspension until I was able to get it hooked back up. I've now been billed for 2.5 months when they have provided no service. It took a week for a "sales rep" to come out to my house to "inspect" my system from my old house and to write down what additional sensors I needed.
