The manager of Burntwood attacked me just after Thanksgiving 2016 when I put my house up for sale . Instead of asking me if I would give Yes! Communities a chance to buy it from me she started out saying someone told her I have a problem with her. When I said I didn't she said "Then why are you wanting to move?"When I said," After 25 years I need a change", She attacked saying "You can't sell or do anything with your home until WE decide if we want it and then you have to sell it to us ,because WE have "RIGHT TO OWNERSHIP" because it sits on our land !!! So when can I come in and take pictures to send the head office so we can decide if we want it." I haven't yet let her in ,but called Legal Aid, who told me to check my lease and see if there is anything in the lease about Right to Ownership in writing .If not I could put my for sale sign back up.The only problem is if anyone wants to buy it she can find a reason to deny letting them move in the park.I feel I'm held hostage in my own home. If she can't get her way she will make your life a real HELL. I want to warn anyone to not go near YES! communities and especially Burntwood. They always hire the nastiest most dishonest people to run their parks. It is a requirement to work for them! ...read more

Living in Burntwood is like living in OZ!!! The manager is the WITCH with a capitol B and the maintenance men are her flying monkeys that can't do anything without her orders . I've seen them stand and watch a water break and just scratch their heads like they didn't know what to do . And those of us who live here are the munchkins who fear the witch .You can't have anything or do anything to the lot without kissing the managers butt, and then if there is something wrong with a tree that was there when you moved there they say IF YOU OWN YOUR HOME it's your responsibility, not there's to pay for it. even though they own the park you pay rent to set on your house on . They also have water meters on our houses but when I was over charged for water they said they are not going by the meters but are charging what they want and if you don't like it MOVE OUT. I would move out if I had the money but they keep finding a way to trap us there . I wish a tornado would blow us OUT OF OZ!!!! If you consider moving to Burntwood you need to reconsider or have your head examined. ...read more
