I went in to this store about a week ago to talk to someone about flowers for my wedding. I was treated very rudely. It was a few days before mothers day and I knew they were probably going to be busy but I just thought I would stop by and maybe set up an appointment to meet with them after mothers day or something but the lady basically told me she was to busy to even speak to me. If your that busy why even have the doors open? I walked in and told the lady I was wanting to talk to someone about flowers for my wedding. She said in a very hateful tone ""well your going to have to come back next week its mothers day"" (which it wasn't...it was a few days before mothers day) and as I was about to say ""ok, i understand when would be a good time next week/should I set up an appointment"" she cut me off then said ""or just come back next year"" in a mocking tone. I was shocked. She lost herself/the company over $1000 worth of business. I just turned around and walked out. Very aweful service!!!! Do not buy flowers from these people!!! From flowers that I received or sent to the hospital or to my best friends funeral. They have always been beautiful. One time my husband ordered my a dozen roses for Valentine's. They wilted within one day. I called and they replaced the arrangement. I have never had anything but a positive experience with them for the last decade. As for weddings, I can't say. My sister-in-law's mother passed away. I called Earl's to order a beautiful flower arrangement I had seen online. The associate on the phone didn't ask for a credit card number before we hung up. That sort of tipped me off she was preoccupied. I asked her if she needed the card number and she said, oh, yes. The next day I called to double-check my arrangement was being sent over. Again due to my experience with the associate over the phone on the prior day, I felt a follow-up was in order. They told me it was heading right over. It's three weeks after the service today and I was just informed that my brother and sister-in-law did not get an arrangement from me. Wow! How embarrassing and disappointing to say the least. When someone loses a loved one, I don't want to have to breathe down their neck to see if my arrangement got there. Like they have nothing else on their minds. I trusted Earl's to make it their business to get the arrangement there to express our condolences. As a florist, they could not even manage that. Lousy business practice and inarticulate staff. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. Fortunately, I put the arrangement on Amex which, by the way, has been charged. Luckily, Amex will force Earl's to eat the charge of the undelivered flowers.
