I know several people who have used Havenbrook Funeral Home, including my family. I have to say this is the last straw! I am dissapointed. First off the services are not anything special... Havenbrook "prides" themselves on treating you like family, and honoring your loved one... It's plastered all over the website. But saying it and doing it are two different things. As far as I am concerned they are fake. My good friend laid is mother to rest just over a year ago, Havenbrook "took care" of everything right down to calling the florist to order the flowers. Except the night before services there were NO casket flowers. There were several phone calls made to the florist, and when it all came out in the wash it was actually Havenbrook who hadn't notified the florist. We we're told they left several messages... but it must have been a wrong number. Great job of "taking care of everything!" Secondly, it's obviously expensive to burry someone, so if money is no option then go ahead sign up with Havenbrook- your paying for all the pricey decor, and seeing as how my loved one can't take it with her, then I could care less to have to pay such a high price for the decor. And thirdly, my family wanted to send flowers the services of my niece who has recently passed a way, so we called up a florist and they we're to deliver them. The service times had not yet been decided so we left it up the the florist to call and find out the next day. Later that day I received a phone call from my florist telling me Havenbrook had refused to give him the times of the services because they were private services. Really? I was trying to send flowers to my niece's funeral services and they won't release the time. I then called Havenbrook and received a very hasty receptionist who was asking me everything but my social security number basically. Needless to say we won't be using them again!
