Just moved to the area and was looking for a new stylist for my daughter and myself. I originally had an appointment with Melissa, the owner, but we were late due to getting completely lost and when we arrived, I guess she no longer wanted to cut my hair so she passed me off to Jamie to cut my hair and then left. Whitney cut my daughter's hair. Honestly the did a good enough job that had I felt more welcome there I would have returned. When paying, we were not even asked if we would like to schedule our next appointment or would like to call to schedule. I felt as if they were doing me a favor to cut OUR hair. I had read good reviews on another site, and felt good about going until we got there. If they had been crazy busy and just could not have taken us due, I would have been more inclined to reschedule and try again, but there were absolutely no other customers there during the 30 minutes we were there. Got hair colored, cut and it was AWFUL. Went back to have them make it right, only to be told what it would cost me. The owner didn't seem to care one way or the other how I was treated, she herself was not friendly. I spent 75.00 for a hair cut which is embarrasing. I went to the store, had people laugh and talk about my hair. I was humiliated!!! I am out the money, have a boy haircut (I am a woman of 30) and my hair is bleached and screwed up. to be honest it was the worst salon experience ever and customer service sucks!...for starters i took two pictures of what i wanted my hair to look like and she said she could do it...big lie i couldn barely tell that she it was dyed red unless i was in the sun so i called to see if they can fix it well when i called i asked to speak to the girl whos station i was at based on the name on the certificate name well turns out the person who did my hair was floating from station to station and she didnt introduce herself to me so the next day i felt like a complete idiot when i walked in and saw the girl who did my hair and told her i spoke to her on the phone..needless to say it was a big mess well the girl who origianlly did my hair did it again and my results were still crappy with very little improvment and get this i have to pay AGAIN..not the full amount but still i should not have to pay to fix your mistakes!! well after calling jessica the owner over a span of three days...six calls, and three messages she finally called me back after about 5days from my first message!! she then almost made me feel like it was my fault for not being verbal enough with my styleist when truth be told i had a pic and i was verbal i speak english just fine thankyou....and when i asked if i would have to pay again she stated it would be up to the stylist... i refuse to pay again heck i dont even want to waste my time bc they had two chances and still couldnt deliever...this salon cares to much about thier college merchandise then they do hair....so do yourself a favor and save yourself alot of time and money and go elsewhere!!....i dont ask for much and i hate to complain but when i am sitting in a chair for four hours and pay a large amount of money i expect to get what i asked for! it doesnt even deserve a full star but it wouldnt let me go down to half a star. ...read more
