I'm sorry to say that my family and friends will no longer be shopping at Homeland. I had an experience today with one of the management staff at the N. Bryant store in Edmond that has left me with very ill feelings towards the stores. On two separate occasions while using the self checkout registers my debit card was declined, on both occasions I proceeded to complete my transaction in cash, to later see on my bank statement that my card had also been charged. My first clue should have been the feeling like I had just gone through a sales pitch at a car dealership - or perhaps pushed through an assembly line. I did not get the simple solution I came in for - instead I was sold something new and high-tech. When I finally got the glasses, they were just awful. Rectangles became odd-sized trapezoids. To read a line across a computer screen, or to read up and down required moving my head from side to side and up and down constantly. My head had to be at a fixed distance - an exact fixed distance - from the computer screen, or everything was blurry. I would become nauseaus to the point of throwing up with just a few hours of use.
