Dustin is a part of the Hughes County region with an elevation of 715 feet. The community was named for Henry C. Dustin, the railroad president. The town is located south of Henryetta. Among the biggest companies in Dustin are McDonald's and Ballard's Cardinal Towing. The biggest schools here are Dustin Elementary School and Dustin High School. The population is 444. Oklahoma State Hwy 9 runs through Dustin and is the second largest state highway in Oklahoma.
