go somewhere else. they don't tell you they can charge any price they want. i recently sent a package to california. i was charged 96.00. the next day i foung out if i had gone to a real fedex shipping center it would have been 76.00. screwed out of 20.00. their response - nothing we can do about it now, the package was already shipped. beware, check your prices and use the real deal and not this fly by night place. ...read more

recently took a package to send it packin' on mahoning ave. in austintown ohio. it was my packaging. i was charged 96.00 and some change. the next day i went to fedex.com and typed in all the info from the send it packin receipt i was given and the total was 76.26. 20.00 less. when i called about it i was told by the manager, tracy, that she would look into it. after almost two weeks her answer was that the rates online are for people with fedex accounts who charge their shipping to a credit card. what? so i called fedex direct and was told that's not the case, and that the independent contractors (like send it packin') could charge anything they want. when i called send it packin' back i was told there is nothing she could do because the package was already sent. (no refund)) bottom line, i got ripped off for the 20.00. just wanted to let anyone thinking of shipping anything to go to a real fedex or ups location instead of one of these fly by nights and save yourself some money. ...read more
