The articles you write will then be syndicated through each article directory, and the more valuable your content to the reader (in other words, these need to be good articles, offering solid advice or value to the reader, not articles trying to sell your company), the more these articles will be picked up by other syndications (this is called viral marketing). These articles will assist your site in its placement in the search engines for your keyword, and often, they will be ranked in the search engines by themselves, which gives YOU multiple listings in the search engine results. Secondly, your company should run bookmarking campaigns on each of these articles, on over 10 different social bookmarking websites. (For example, Reddit, Delicious, Bookmarklets, etc). This will help your site in getting visitors and one way back links, which will also improve your search engine results. Third, you should submit your website and your anchor text (ideally, the keyword you want to be placing for) for your keywords to 20 directories a month, which will get your site more traffic exposure and more back-links. The fourth facet of this promotion will be to create social media campaigns using Twitter, getting your business followers and tweeting your posts and advice. Make sure that you have twitter badges on your website so that incoming customers can subscribe to your Twitter feeds and get tips and articles from you and your company. The fifth component to the monthly continuity campaign is blog posts and blog commenting campaigns. If your company does not have a blog, create one, and syndicate your articles to your blog, of course, spinning the content for originality. RSS Feeds can be developed and distributed, and blog commenting can be opened to gain traffic as well as leads and get discussions going on your website regarding your products and articles. This is a very influential tool, as the search engines love to see active websites like this where the visitors are interacting with the company. Each month, in addition, you should create one new Link Wheel for you, involving hub pages, squidoo lenses, blog posts and Google Knol. This is the DIY method of running continuity marketing campaigns for your website.
