Don't let the small size of this store fool you. It is packed ceiling to floor with candy from childhood past to the present fads. Add in a sugary soda from their vast selection of hard to find energy drinks (remember Ale81?) Every time I have been there staff was very nice and helpful. Worth checking out even if you aren't a candy freak. ...read more

My name is Jon i have been a customer of boyds retro candy store for a while now. My kids and I love to spend some of our spare change at this store since we are always able to get alot of candy for not alot of money. The employees are very helpfull as well as making sure evrything is clean and candy is kept sanitary. I have been in other candy stores where customers get there own bulk candy with there bare hands... At Boyds they always make customers aware that they will help you with the bulk candy making sure its kept clean and fresh. I will always be a loyal customer of boyds retro candy store. I recommend signing up for there email list as i get alot of coupons this way. I also havn't received any junk mail showing me they are true to there word of not selling my email address. Highly recommended by me and many others. ...read more

So when you want the old fashioned penny candy store Red Hot Dollar, ask for Raspberry Dollars. These candies are stamped with a dollar, are the size of a quarter, and are firm but soft, somewhere between a juju and a gummy. ...read more
