I went to Berris (Solon, OH) for an eye exam ($70) and glasses ($600) in September 2009. The exam and was conducted without issue and prescription issued for glasses. Berris also prepared the eye wear and there was little/no improvement in vision. A board certified ophthalmologist conducted a follow-up exam and diagnosed cataracts in each eye that would require corrective surgery to restore my vision. Not sure how glasses could be prescribed and reasonably expected to correct poor vision due to cataracts. A complaint was filed with the BBB on 25 Nov to either secure a refund for the service or arrange to have new glasses prepared following the surgery. ...read more
