Joan is such a wonderful person, friend and dance teacher. i have taken leassons from joan for 12 years, in all diciplens of dance. she is the most extrodinary teacher i have ever had, she will challange you and help you improove.. weather you are a beginer or an advanced dancer, Joan is the best dance teacher anyone could ever want. :) ...read more

I took lessons from Joan for 10 years. That was a long time ago yet to this day everything she taught has stayed with me. She is a wonderful teacher! I moved away and took from other teachers. Two teachers in college even danced for the American Ballet Theatre. But none were as outstanding as Joan. ...read more

Joan Garrett is a wonderful mentor and excellent role model along with her associate Michelle Dugan and assistant david fowler Garrett dance arts studio is a wonderful place to learn but I must be honest when I say that somtimes Joan can be a bit harsh and the opposite of monotoned but her intentions are good and as you grow up with her you truely learn to love them all. ...read more
