Claremar in the past was real nice. More to do, more people much lower rates. Restrooms and showers have been there since built 40 years ago and are in need of rebuilding. Rates jumped 400-600 the last 3 years and many trailers pulled out. The lake has way to much sea weed most of the summer and makes fishing difficult. The grounds are kept clean and plenty of trees and grass. With karaoke gone the way it was in the past it just seems as if going to the pavilion is just not entertaining as it was.I for see the end of the 2010 season to see another pricey jump for season camping and more people calling it quits.It is still a nice place to visit. ...read more
