Christmas is quickly approaching and I am often approached by customers wanting something different for their mantels. This year create something unique by decorating with a collage of items! Adding a mirror propped, is a great way to add depth to your room and space. Consider a rectangular, more slender one and prop it up vertically, off centered. Place a wreath or something round in the center of your mantel and allow it to overlap the mirror. On the opposite side of the mirror, create some height using (3) of something, possibly a set of candlesticks, and place the tallest one on the outside, allowing the smallest one to be placed toward the middle of the mantel. To spice up Christmas display, add a few twinkling lights, glass containers filled with christmas bulbs or pine cones, or place larger christmas bulbs on top of the candlesticks in place of candles. Add something glittery, lights, beads.. something to add some flare! And there you go.. a new concept for your mantel this holiday season!
