Crazy Burrito

I've been to Crazy Burrito's in Marysville four or five times now. I keep going back, because there are only two Mexican restaurants in the little town of Marysville, otherwise you need to go into Columbus (which I highly recommend by the way). First of all, Crazy Burrito's is part of a local chain of Mexican eateries in Central Ohio. I've been to a couple of them they are all very similar. Look up lacascadamexicancuisine for their locations. Overall, the fare at Crazy's is pretty much run of the mill "Mexican", you are not going to get anything different here. Here are the ratings of their offerings: Margaritas: 3 out of 5 (passable) Salsa and chips: 2 out of 5 (tasteless, bland) Guacamole: 2 out of 5 (tasteless, stale) Entrees: 3 out of 5 with some exceptions Their standard burritos, enchiladas, chimis and tacos made with chicken are passable, but not great. But please stay away from the "California Burrito", I could not even finish this. Also, stay away from the "Carne Asada Burrito", this was totally inedible, made with steak that was filled will gristle and fat. Quite disgusting, I left almost all this on my plate. Please spend another 25 cents per entree and get some decent beef, or at least trim it!! Also during the last visit, we had a waiter who was new, but was attentive and eager to please. He was struggling a little with the language barrier, but that's OK with me - if the waiter has a good attitude, who cares? He was more than helpful during our meal, even though I think this gentleman may have had some special challenges. However, the manager took two opportunities during our visit to come into the dining room and berate this waiter (who was also serving other tables and the bar) in front of guests, in a domineering and bullying way, taking the bill from the waiter's hands, and deliberately humiliating him, in public. This is totally unacceptable in my opinion, a completely unprofessional way to run a restaurant. For this reason, I don't plan to return to Crazy Burrito's anytime soon. ...read more
