My daughter had individual tutoring sessions with Brian during March/April this year. She got an ACT composite score of 35. She found the sessions to be very helpful and believes that the tutoring helped improve her score significantly. Brian mostly went over test taking tips and strategies to improve her score which she believes worked very well. She attended Brian’s SAT advanced prep class as well this month and found that also very useful. She plans to take PSAT and SAT later this year. My son got a 27 composite on his practice ACT test in the fall and wanted to improve it, but he was very busy with his after school activities and didn't have much time to study and prepare for the test. We heard Brian's class from a friend. He attended a ACT workshop before his ACT test in the spring, and was very happy to get a 33. We will send our daughter to Brian's class next year. ...read more

Brian Stewart came to my house and tutored seven students in the DJHS marching band last August. He was able to work around their schedule. Everyone thought it was very worthwhile. I signed up for the Advanced SAT. A few of the kids hadn't taken the SAT yet. Brian worked with everyone at their level, but kept it challenging. I also signed up for the ACT workshop at the New Albany Library. My son was entering his Junior year at that point. He will be a senior this year. He took the ACT and SAT the spring of his junior year. He got a 33 composite, with a 34 in English and Math. His SAT scores were 690 CR, 740 Math, and 600 writing. He will take the test again in the fall, after getting some help with essay writing.
