I would strongly disagree with the person who left the last comment!! I've been training with the Pil-Sung Academy for over 4 years now, with my three children (Known as the Owens/Midgett family). The Pil-Sung Academy has a friendly, disciplined based system that helps each child to achieve more and strive harder. What I love most about Pil-Sung Academy is the instructors we have there!!! They make every student there feel like their part of a family and they are because Pil-Sung Academy is like one great big family!!! Grandmaster Wiles is a great man! So what if he don't have a frame of a body builder....he's got over 40 years in the martial arts. Besides knowledge.....he has heart in what he does....teach!!! And to be frank....I wouldn't trade him, nor would I trade our Cheif instructor Master Andrist in for any other instructor! The respect and knowledge of skill this academy has is incredible. This school focuses only on teaching sport martial arts and even at that they are not very good. The instructors are often full of themselves and it seems they enjoy belittling the students. I would never recommend them to anyone at anytime. The Master Instructor claims to be a 9th dan yet he is huge, out of shape and really is not that good compared to many others I have seen over the years.
