If you are looking for a dance studio for a beginner or a dancer with some experience. Madonna's School of Dance is a wonderful place to check out. We moved from out of state and have had experience with many different dance studios. Madonnas studio was welcoming and open to our daughter, who absolutely loves dancing. The teachers are excellent and work well with the dancers. Technique instruction is top notch and my daughters dance skills have grown by leaps and bounds during her 2 years there. When you step in the door Madonna's looks like your typical dance studio but it's one of the worst run unprofessional businesses around. The teachers are mediocre at best and poor technique is taught in every class. The studio is simply focused on the competition teams and it shows. The average kid will be taught a sloppy routine for recital and that is it. Susie Q has lost her excitement for dance since coming to this studio. My daughter will finish out the year because she made a commitment but when that is done we will not return. We will be looking elsewhere for well run studio.\t\n\t\nThere was zero communication from any of the dance staff or secretary about schedules, class time changes and upcoming events. I guess your suppose to be psychic. I agree the website is is poorly run and they don't keep it updated. I have been able to reach staff on the phone but purely by luck. My daughter has danced with Viki's dance studio for 6 years now and love's it. She offers a wide variety of classes including tap, jazz, hip hop, tahitian, ballet, acro and kinderdance. They have a great recital every June at the Victoria theatre with beautiful costumes and props. My daughter is very excited to go to dance each week, she is 8 years old so keeping her excited about things are rare, but she has kept her interest for the last 6 years. ...read more
