Three years ago I bought a pair of Definitive Tech BP7006's and had a less than pleasant experience. They treated me like more of a nuisance than a customer. I should have learned my lesson then, but more recently I stopped in to inquire about a pair of Golden Ear Triton 3 Towers as replacements and was again met with indifference. Maybe if you are dropping $10k or more, they'll show some interest. There is another high end audio dealer in Dayton that I visited recently while I was looking for a turntable and they spent two hours with me showing me various models within my budget and demoing them on various speakers and headphones.
